STOP THE ORGY OF SLAUGHTER IN ETHIOPIA BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE

It’s time for responsible African Heads of State and Government to take the nihilistic #OPDO cabal in Ethiopia and its collaborators to the International Court of Justice, #ICJ, for the war crimes perpetrated with impunity. 

If Africans have any respect for Ethiopia, they ought to be clear eyed about the orgy of extermination ravaging this ancient and troubled dominion. Have African leaders no eyes and ears? Have they no shame? Entire regions/nations are being marked for total extermination not only of humans but also of livestock, farms, and the whole environment. 

Ethiopia hasn’t been known for Freedom, durable peace, or social harmony. Tyranny has had deeper and deadlier roots. But it’s different this time, even by the horrendous standards of the empire of liquidation. A new species of tyranny is born, powered by hate and demonic rage, and hell-bent on destroying everything, desecrating everything.

Ethiopia blossoms in gore. Genocide is already evident according to informed and credible sources. A bigger genocide looms large. 

Global powers and influential actors- in particular US, EU, UN, AU - who believe that geopolitics trumps humanity may pretend that they don’t see evil, don’t hear evil for now. But at least they ought to ask themselves and reflect on the right questions. One of which is: after extermination of Abyssinians and forced and brutal Oromization of the rest, what comes next in Ethiopia? What will become of the rest of the Horn of Africa Region? 

If Africa is unable or unwilling to produce one responsible state, led by one courageous and enlightened leader, to spearhead a campaign aimed at stopping the orgy of mass slaughter sweeping and annihilating Ethiopia, Africa is doomed? The cradle of humanity and the first humans will be reduced to the status of the wretched of the earth.
